  3. 2

    Roll

Roll the dice you have. The roll reveals a character copy, which may include a mutation or a size label.

  4. 3

    Place the unit

Put the copy on a plot pad. A unit that stays in the backpack does not earn.

  5. 4

    Collect Cash

Placed units generate Cash, including while you are offline. Collect it and spend it before a rebirth, because rebirth deletes the cash balance.

  6. 5

    Buy better dice

Spend Cash in the dice shop on the next die you can afford. Dice are the Luck ladder for later rolls.

  7. 6

    Redeem codes in Shop

Click Shop on the left, scroll to Enter Code, and redeem the working codes. Rewards include Lucky Spins, Trait Rerolls and Gems.

  8. 7

    Use Traits and Grades

Trait Rerolls are spent at the Traits station, one per roll. Gems are spent at the Grades station. Use both on units you will keep.

  9. 8

    Check the Index

Index, on the left, shows the collection and the base 1-in value. Your Backpack shows the copies you own.

  10. 9

    Rebirth from the panel

Open Rebirth, between Shop and Index. Confirm when the cash requirement is met and your pads can earn it again.

The Left-Side Buttons

Three buttons on the left come up immediately. Shop is where codes are redeemed, at the bottom of that window, and where you buy extra rolls or resources. Rebirth is the cash reset that raises Luck and Cash multipliers. Index is the collection list, not the backpack of copies you are holding.

The hub also has stations rather than more left-side icons. The Traits station takes Trait Rerolls. The Grades station takes Gems and rolls an Income grade onto one copy. The Sell Units stand is where plain duplicates go after you have read the card. The dice shop is where Cash turns into a higher Luck die.

Tower is the combat side of the same units. Traits that say Damage or Health matter there. Grades do not add those stats. You can ignore Tower for the first stretch of a new account and still progress, because cash from the plot is what buys the next die.

What to Spend First

Cash goes to the next die and to Money and Luck upgrades before it goes to a starter unit you will replace. A better die improves rolls from that point on. A level on plain Naroto does not. Look at the tier list if you are unsure whether the name in your hand is a starter.

Trait Rerolls go to a unit you would still place after the next rebirth. Samurai, Shogun, Monarch and Transcendent are all strong documented stops on a keeper. Money III is a fine stop on a plot earner. Damage III and Health III are the stops for a Tower unit.

Gems go to the same kind of keeper. The documented grade table currently runs from D at 1.1x Income through Z+ at 25x Income. Rolling a grade onto a unit you are about to sell spends a Gem you could have used on Enol, Sakuna, Madera, Maheto or the best A unit you have.

Lucky Spins are rolls. They are more useful after the die and the Luck upgrades are no longer the starter setup. Spending them in the first minute is allowed, and it is weaker than spending them once the Luck multiplier from the first rebirth is already on the account.

The First Rebirth Checkpoint

The first rebirth costs $50,000 and moves Luck and Cash from 1x to 1.5x. Spend cash above $50,000 on a die or on upgrades, leave your best units on the pads, then confirm. The second rebirth is $5,000,000, from 1.5x to 2x. Anything beyond that is the number on your own Rebirth panel.

You do not bank cash through the reset, and you do not lose the units. That is the whole timing rule. If the plot can make the requirement again with the units that stay, the new multipliers are worth more than the cash pile. If it cannot, fill the pads with better base-income units first.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you play Anime Dice?

Roll a character, place it on a plot pad, and spend the Cash it generates on better dice and Luck. Redeem codes in the left Shop, roll traits and grades on keepers, and rebirth when the panel requirement is one your plot can earn again.

Where are codes in Anime Dice?

Click Shop on the left side of the screen, scroll to the bottom, enter the code, and press the green Redeem button.

What should a new player buy first?

The next die you can afford, plus Money and Luck upgrades. Save Trait Rerolls and Gems for a unit you will still use after that upgrade, not for the first common you roll.

What stays when you rebirth?

Units, dice, upgrades, Gems and Trait Rerolls stay. Cash is reset to zero, and the Luck and Cash multipliers increase.
